There are meantime close to 6,000 containervessels (including multipurpose vessels fitted for containers) worldwide in service with a total capacity of more than 11 Million teu. The ships are either owned by the Container Shipping Lines themselves or by owners who do not run own liner services but charter out their ships to the Container Lines. On the other side also the Container Lines charter out some of their own ships from time to time to other users. All this has resulted in a very active chartering market for container ships.
During the more than 16 years we are in this business we have developed a good knowledge of the charter market for containerships. We know the owners , we know their brokers and we know the ships which are available on the charter market for quick positioning voyages. And even more important: the owners also know us and that we are a reliable Operator with a proven track record to whom they can entrust their vessels.
We have chartered meantime hundreds of containervessels (or multipurpose vessels fitted for containers) with a capacity from anything between 300 and 3000 teu for full vessel loads of empties either on time- or voyage charter to serve the needs of our customers.
