With "parcels" we mean small quantities of containers which need to be positioned. Obviously we cannot charter a vessel for such parcels but need to book them with a suitable regular Container Shipping Line serving the specific trade. Our customers here can benefit from our market knowledge , our good and long relation with many container carriers , the volumes we ship year by year and the attractive all-in rates we usually can offer as well as the other add-up services which are available (see there).
With "deckloads" we mean that sometimes it happens that a vessel has nearly reached its deadweight capacity but still has available the full deckspace. Whenever such ships are containerfitted a deckcargo of empty containers often is a perfect "top-up cargo" for the owner/ Operator where both the owner and our customers can benefit from. There exist quite some Operators of such vessels which are mainly involved in the project cargo market to whom we keep a close contact for such opportunities.
