Our services are tailor-made according to the specific needs of our customers. Some of our customers have the wish or need for additional services on top of the mere shipment from A to B. e.g.:
In some parts of the world we can ( either directly or via our agents) also handle the pre-carriage of containers from the place of receipt ( e.g. a containerdepot outside the port) to the loadterminal either by truck or barge or rail. The same applies of course also for the -on-carriage from the discharge terminal to a specific place of delivery (e.g. to an off-dock containerdepot or to a factory where the container shall be loaded with cargo).
In some parts of the world where Customs clearance also for empty containers is required (e.g. in China) we can arrange for customs import-/export clearance of cargo on behalf of our customers if so requested.
When requested we can arrange for transport insurance of the containers via our insurers. Different types of coverage are available. We can guide you with the pros and cons of these different types of insurance and what is recommendable for the intended shipment.
Unlike with most container shipping lines which have the tendency to ever increase their various surcharges on top of the basis oceanfreight we try to make it as easy and predictable for our customers as possible which means: one all-in price , one invoice, one currency only.
